The New York Daily News added fire to its ongoing war
of words with Donald Trump by running news in the front page about his
alleged KKK connection.
The tabloid’s Friday cover features a photograph of a hooded Klansman and the words “TRUMP FOR
PREZ” where Trump supporter former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke is reported to have
urged [his] radio audience Thursday to vote for and volunteer for Trump. The ex-KKK wizard levelled Trump as having
‘same kind of mindset’.
Earlier on Feb 19 NY Daily News ran a story slamming Trump
as anti-Christ.
Reports have it that white supremacist groups across the
country have been working hard to mobilize racists to vote for Trump. Other than Duke’s radio announcement this
week, a white supremacist organization called the American National Super PAC
began circulating a robocall in support of the GOP
frontrunner, urging voters: “Don’t vote for a Cuban. Vote for Donald Trump.”
Amid KKK connection hype, adding to the trouble of Trump, ex-Mexican President Vincente Fox bashed Trump likening him to Hitler in an interview with CNN Anderson Cooper. Last month, Anne Frank's step sister accused Trump of "acting like another Hitler", CNN noted. In December, former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman also likened Trump to Hitler.
